On 18 May 2012 a presentation to mark the opening of the “Bogoslov” studio Youtube channel took place at the Moscow Theological Academy. This new resource was introduced by the Chairman of the Education Committee of the Russian Orthodox Church and Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, Archbishop Evgeny of Vereia, the chairman of the Synodal Information Department of the Moscow Patriarchate, V.R. Legoida, and Fr Pavel Velikanov, general producer of the film studio.

The Bogoslov Film Studio was created as a platform for the production of video content for the academic and theological portal Bogoslov.Ru.

Among the materials to be found on the Bogoslov Film Studio channel are numerous presentations, lectures and interviews with leading experts in the field of theological research and education, both domestic and foreign.

Materials are published in both Russian and English (under the heading English version). Particular attention is paid to the topical issue of integrating spiritual education in the Russian Orthodox Church into the Bologna process, which is reflected in the corresponding section of the channel.

The short stories and sketches category (“Новеллы и зарисовки”) should be particularly noted, in which can be found artistic works from the Studio, including the animation “Love” (“Любовь”), winner at the Pokrov and Radonezh festivals, and a recently released short film about the Moscow Theological Academy.

The English version of the channel can be found here and the Russian channel here.
